THE PRESIDENT'S OFFICE
The President's Office is a comprehensive executive organization at the university, playing the roles of the leaders'advisor, the comprehensive department coordinator, the supervisor of majorpolicy decisions and the internal and external communicator. The office is the important hub of political work. The guiding principles of the President's Office are: to contribute to the university's central tasks, to satisfy the leaders, departments, students and faculties by providing services. The primary responsibilities of the President's Office include
UNDERTAKING THE SCHOOL-WIDE TASKS
-Being responsible for organizing important conferences, such as the the president meetings, special Office meeting, joint council conferences, etc. and conducting everything concerning the meetings.
-Being responsible for major university events and important receptions in planning, organization, coordination and implementation, as well as external contact and cooperation.
-Being responsible for handling various types of university official documents (remarking and circulating the received documents, implementing leaders’ instructions and hastening the process, as well as issuing, reviewing, and publishing documents).
-Being responsible for organizing the drafting and reviewing of university regulations; drafting and composing school-wide political working plans, summaries and other documents; drafting important speeches of the secretary and president; writing other documents, letters and so on.
-Cooperating with the Personnel Department and other departments to study and audit the programs of institution setup and reformation as well as the assignment of responsibility, and then submitting those programs to the school board for decision-making.
-Arranging agendas, official activities and daily office work for the university leaders.
-Coordinating internal and external activities in which the university leaders are involved.
-Being responsible for keeping the official seals of the university.
UNDERTAKING THE SCHOOL-WIDE TASKS
Undertaking comprehensive research and information integration, playing a role as an advisor and assistant.
-According to the requirements of the university, based on the university’s development strategy, formulation and implementation of major policies, working together with the Policy Research Office and other departments to carry out research to support decision-making for the university leaders.
-Being responsible for the school-wide information collection, summary, analysis, report and release as well as compiling and distributing information and documents for university departments as references.
Being responsible for supervision of major policies of the university (Multi-department)
-Supervising the policies and affairs made on the president meetings
-Supervising the completion of the university's annual working plan.
Being responsible for coordination of petition, visiting.
-Being responsible for coordinating and supervising correspondence and visits from the public; coordinating all departments in security and stability work.
-Assisting the university leaders in coordinating relevant units and departments; making emergency responses to unexpected events.
